The List

Now you know my history and feel like we're best buds so it's time to divulge this list I've created and plan to live by for the next year.

1. Be the best version of me (instead of just saying I want to lose weight and feel better about myself)
     A. Go to the gym at least 4 times a week
     B. Eat to live, don't live to eat
     C. Grocery shop ONLY once a week
     D. Meal Prep every Saturday and/or Sunday night
     E. Listen to podcasts or audible instead of constantly re watching The Office or Parks and Rec
2. Travel
     A. NYC weekend with my friends in late July
     B. NYC weekend with Eric in August for his birthday
     C. Girls weekend with my best friend/maid of Honor to Sea Isle, NJ in November
     D. Plan a trip to Europe for next summer.  London, Paris, and Amsterdam.  This is for our 1 year anniversary AND Eric's 40th birthday.
     E. Plan a trip to Disney in October 2019
3. Go to more concerts/events, and stop feeling weird about inviting people to come with me!
    A. Lantern Festival- I've been before but I love it and need to go again.
    B. Kenny Chesney!  He was just in Philly tonight and I hate that I missed him
    C. Taylor Swift.
    D. Summer Ticket (a country concert ticket series in my area.)
    E. Music Fest in Bethlehem, PA.
4. Stop Saying SORRY and stop feeling guilty about everything!
5.  Make my life easier
     A. Set a cleaning schedule for the house, assigning duties to Eric and myself, so I'm not the only one cleaning!
     B. Declutter!  We have so much stuff stowed away in drawers, closets, in the basement, the garage, it's gots to go!
     C. Set boundaries.  This can actually fall under several categories on this list but I think it will make my life easier so I'm setting it here.  Mostly boundaries with my mother, which will help me to stop feeling so guilty all the time!
     D. Work less!  I work a typical 40 hour week, Monday through Friday 11 am to 8 pm, but what I do is mostly online and requires a lot of attention to make sure my sales quotes aren't stolen.  So I also work 8-10 at home and several chunks of hours over the weekends.  It has to stop and I need to set a balance so this does not continue.
6. Fix the house
    A. New Front Door
    B.  New Garage Door
    C. Paint the Dining Room
    D. Put pavers in the back yard so we have a patio/extra parking spot
    E. Get the plumbing in the bathroom checked on/fixed
7. Commit to what I want and make it happen!

My goal was to have it be a list of 7 big things and then 5 little things I can do to fulfill the big goals but not all of them have little things to go along with them and some of the little things can fall under several of the big goals.  I want to be smarter, work smarter, be healthier, take care of myself and my home.  Ultimately, I want to be a better person and I believe all of this will help me get there.

Do you make lists for your day, week, or year?
Did you feel a need improve yourself or take better care of yourself?  Especially around your birthday?
If you have any recommendations for how I can better attain my goals, I'm all ears!
